This Christmas, the Parklane Foundation was proud to once again spread a little festive cheer through our annual Christmas Toy Appeal, supporting children receiving care at Leeds Hospitals Charity.



On Wednesday 17th December, members of the Parklane Foundation team delivered a collection of donated toys to the Clarendon Wing at Leeds General Infirmary. The Clarendon Wing supports children and young people from across the region, and we were honoured to play a small part in bringing some joy to children who will be spending the festive period in hospital.



The appeal was made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of Parklane Group colleagues, who donated a wide range of thoughtful and age-appropriate gifts. From games and toys to creative and comforting presents, each donation was given with the aim of putting a smile on a child’s face at what can be a difficult time of year.



In addition to staff donations, we also used December’s Small Grant to top up the collection, ensuring even more children could benefit from the appeal. This allowed us to expand the range of gifts and support Leeds Hospitals Charity in reaching as many young patients as possible during the Christmas period.



The team at Leeds Hospitals Charity were extremely appreciative of the donations, and it was clear how much they value the continued support from the Parklane Foundation. Knowing that these gifts will help bring comfort, distraction and happiness to children and families during their hospital stay makes the appeal all the more meaningful.
