In a heartwarming showcase of compassion and unity, Roomzzz Aparthotels recently celebrated a resounding success with their inaugural Charity Week. The week-long event, held across ten Roomzzz aparthotels, from the 31st of July to the 6th of August, left an indelible mark on both the guests and staff. With a myriad of engaging activities and a genuine spirit of giving, Roomzzz Charity Week managed to raise an impressive £38,240 for the Parklane Foundation, who are supporting Dementia UK, Alzheimer’s Society and Leeds Hospitals Charity.



The cornerstone of this week of giving was the donation of Saturday night's revenue to the Parklane Foundation. This unique approach to fundraising not only allowed guests to enjoy a memorable stay but also enabled them to contribute meaningfully to a noble cause. It's heartening to see how a simple act, such as spending a night at Roomzzz, can make a tangible difference in the lives of others, specifically those who have been affected by dementia/ alzhiemer’s.



One highlight of the week was the Golden Ticket raffle, an opportunity for participants to win an enchanting stay at all eleven Roomzzz aparthotels. The fortunate recipient of this prestigious prize was David Mayfield, who now has the chance to embark on an unforgettable journey across Roomzzz's exquisite offerings.



However, the generosity didn't stop there. The dedicated staff at Roomzzz Aparthotels went above and beyond to make Charity Week a truly memorable experience. The spin-the-wheel game, enthusiastically embraced by both staff and guests, added an element of excitement and interaction to the event. The guests were able to win prizes including late check out, ice-cream and pizza.



Throughout the week, a cascade of engaging activities was on offer. Raffles, fresh lemonade stands, and bake sales adorned the reception areas. These events were not merely fundraisers; they became focal points for conversations and connections among guests and staff alike, for them to share the amazing work the Foundation carries out, along with the work of its three charity partners.



The heartwarming aspect of Roomzzz Charity Week lies not just in the financial success it achieved, but also in the three outstanding charities it supported: Leeds Hospitals Charity, Dementia UK, and Alzheimer's Society. Each of these organisations, all centred around the theme of dementia care, has been working tirelessly to improve the lives of individuals and families impacted by this challenging condition. The funds raised during Charity Week will undoubtedly contribute significantly to their invaluable efforts.
