A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our Managing Director, Naveen Ahmed and his fellow golfers in completing the epic 72 hole golf challenge on 20th June at Leeds Golf Centre.
Naveen and his golfing friends raised over a whopping £13,000 which will go towards our three chosen charities. These are Dementia UK, Alzheimer's Society and Leeds Hospitals Charity, all with the chosen theme of Dementia.
The weather conditions were not on their side, with it raining for most of the day.but that didn’t dampen their spirits and they managed to push through and complete the challenge.
They were joined by the Yorkshire Muslim Golf Society for their final round, which definitely helped them to complete this mighty challenge. They celebrated the achievement after with some delicious food.
The day was a huge success in the amount of money raised but also awareness for the work these charities carry out.
The Parklane Foundation have been amazing in helping us to support the families of Children with Cancer. From providing much needed hotel rooms for families who need to be close to the hospital, to amazing venues for us to be able to run our support groups for parents. Their support makes such a difference!
The support from the Parklane Foundation over the years has helped us to deliver essential provision for people who are destitute and living in poverty. Our work depends on the generosity of our funders and partners, and we are grateful for their continuous support.
We've been the Parklane Foundation's charity of the year for 2021 - 2022. They've gone above and beyond to support us and we're so pleased with the funds raised to date.
