This Easter we’ve had collection points around our sites in Leeds to collect Easter eggs which were donated to The Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm.
Lineham Farm, now home to The Children’s Charity. They have been enhancing the lives of children since 1993 when it was converted into an outdoor children’s centre. The 17th century farmhouse, set in 120 acres of outstanding natural beauty is the perfect place to provide disadvantaged children with much needed respite and fun.
During term time the centre is used for school residentials, with priority given to those schools in the most deprived and disadvantaged areas of Leeds. Then during school holidays they provide unforgettable breaks for neglected, abused or poverty-stricken children and young carers.
These children wouldn't normally receive a chocolate egg, so we’re pleased to be able to provide these. The generosity of our staff is always much appreciated, they always go the extra mile to help us with these initiatives and we couldn’t do it without them.
The Parklane Foundation have been amazing in helping us to support the families of Children with Cancer. From providing much needed hotel rooms for families who need to be close to the hospital, to amazing venues for us to be able to run our support groups for parents. Their support makes such a difference!
The support from the Parklane Foundation over the years has helped us to deliver essential provision for people who are destitute and living in poverty. Our work depends on the generosity of our funders and partners, and we are grateful for their continuous support.
We've been the Parklane Foundation's charity of the year for 2021 - 2022. They've gone above and beyond to support us and we're so pleased with the funds raised to date.
